I set this up on my ISP test bench to simulate edge routing + QoS + VPN bursting. The dual Noah 4 boards with Intel E3845 cores handled it all with zero instability. Very glad I chose this model — feels like pro-grade hardware at a fair price.

The M1 works exactly as advertised — rugged, stable, and handles all our NAT + routing + firewall tasks smoothly. My only small gripe is that the bundled PSU cables were shorter than ideal for my rack orientation, so I had to use extensions. Not a deal-breaker, but worth a mention.

The RackMatrix M1 is a great appliance — handles routing and firewall duties perfectly. My only downside was import fees and local taxes that added more than I expected.

Once it arrived, this thing worked exactly as described — powerful and stable. But there were very few shipping/ tracking updates, which made the wait anxious.
We’re sorry the tracking experience wasn’t ideal. We’re improving shipment communications to keep customers better informed. Glad the appliance performed well once delivered.
The device itself is excellent — dual processors, strong performance. I just wish there were a few more accessories like cable ties or extra screws included.
