This RackMatrix S2 router appliance delivers everything I expected — fast packet forwarding, stable throughput, modular options. The only snag was that customs clearance in my country took a few extra days, delaying delivery. But once it arrived, setup was smooth and the hardware lives up to the hype.

The RackMatrix S2 ready-to-use with Noah2 E3845 is decent hardware — CPU power is fine, ports are useful, modular build is nice. But when it arrived, the box was dented and one corner of the chassis had a slight scratch. Fortunately, it still functions perfectly. Packaging could use reinforcement.

The RackMatrix S2 Noah2 Intel E3845 appliance is whisper-quiet and efficient. Under heavy firewall/VPN load, it stays cool and silent — a nice surprise. However, it didn’t ship with rack ears or a mounting kit, so I had to order those separately. Otherwise, I love it.

This is a solid piece of networking hardware — RackMatrix S2 with Intel E3845 handles what I throw at it with ease. The aluminum chassis and modular build feel high-end. My only hesitation is that it's priced a bit higher than some comparable boxes. But you do get that refined design and reliability in exchange.
