This is a reliable rack firewall box and I trust it day‑to‑day. My only wish is for more storage flexibility (like internal SSD slots) for logging or caching. Still, it does its core job flawlessly

The RackMatrix S2 appliance itself is excellent — fast, stable, good build. My only frustration was the shipping delay (took nearly three weeks to arrive). Once it got here though, setup went smooth.

I’m running Proxmox + containerized services on this RackMatrix S2 with Intel E3845 and it hasn’t skipped a beat. The balance between power and energy efficiency is outstanding. Fans are whisper quiet too

We deployed this device as a small office VPN gateway using pfSense, and it’s been rock solid so far. It handles 20+ concurrent VPN sessions without much CPU load. Wish the included documentation had more examples, but otherwise very impressed
