If you need a “rack-mounted dual E3845 1.91 GHz networking appliance”, the RackMatrix® M1 is a standout. Dual boards, strong throughput, and uptime has been perfect in our small datacenter.
Thank you! We’re thrilled it’s delivering the performance you expected. Your detailed use case will help others choosing the right appliance.
The device works perfectly and is very dependable. My only small issue was that the packaging wasn’t as sturdy as I’d hoped — the outer box got a little banged up, though the unit itself was fine.
We appreciate you pointing that out — we’re reviewing our packaging to help prevent that in the future. Glad the unit arrived safely and is working well!
The M1 itself is outstanding in performance and build. However, import duties and local fees bumped up my final cost more than I expected. Still happy with the performance, though.
Thank you for your transparency! Import fees are outside our control, but we appreciate the honest feedback and are working to improve pricing clarity.
I wasn’t expecting it to be so quiet — even under sustained load the fans stay calm. In a small office environment that really matters.
We’re glad the sound level works for your setup! Quiet cooling was a design focus, so this means a lot.
The machine’s hardware is solid — fast, responsive and reliable. My only suggestion is that the setup documentation could have more advanced examples for VLANs and multi-WAN setups.
Thanks for the feedback! We’re working on expanding our guides to cover more complex networking scenarios.
