I’m giving 4 stars here (instead of 5) because the high-quality rackmount network appliance with pre-installed software is exactly what I wanted—strong build, quiet operation, good ports. But my unit got held up in customs and arrived after 3 weeks. Once it arrived though, performance has been flawless.

The unit is a strong choice for a smart home gateway appliance with SFP port and 3 GbE — it handles VLANs for IoT devices, smart sensors and security cameras easily. Setup was more advanced than I expected (I’m more casual user), but once configured it’s rock steady.

We used it as the backend for our WiFi network — the network appliance controlling multiple wireless access points with SFP uplink handles our 30+ APs flawlessly. The SFP uplink was a smart choice for uplink aggregation.

We’re using this as a branch office router with VLANs and failover links — the branch office router appliance with Intel Atom E3845 is handling everything smoothly. My only comment: the initial configuration of firewall rules and link failover took more time than I expected (not a fault of the unit, just our processes). Nonetheless, excellent product.

Happy with the purchase of the reliable rack network appliance with 3 GbE + 1 SFP — the build quality is excellent and the motherboard (Noah2/E3845) feels rock-solid under continuous load. The only hiccup: the mounting brackets weren’t included in my shipment, so I had to improvise. Still worth the 5 stars for the hardware itself.
