I sent this to a remote field site. The RackMatrix S2 performed exactly as promised — stable under variable loads. However, shipping to that remote location took an extra 5 days beyond estimate. Once here, the unit delivered beautifully

I’ve been using it for a few weeks: firewall, routing, VPN all operate well, with some CPU headroom. It’s well built and stable. Would love optional expansion slots in future versions (e.g. extra NIC or M.2)

Excellent hardware, steady performance, everything inside works superbly. But customs delayed my package by 3 days. That threw off my deployment schedule. If delivery were smoother, this would be 5 stars

I’ve pushed 1 Gbps routing + some traffic shaping, and it holds up fine. The RackMatrix S2 feels “just powerful enough” for my small enterprise use. Setup was smooth. The casing is solid. If there were an LCD screen, it’d be perfect.

The RackMatrix S2 UK‑36 works beautifully. But when it was imported to the UK, I got hit with unexpected VAT/handling fees that added to cost. If those were predictable, I’d rate it higher. Still, hardware is excellent.
