I’m impressed with throughput, interface, reliability. My only gripe is that local UPS/handling slapped an extra duty charge on delivery I didn’t expect. That has nothing to do with the product, though — so 4 stars.
We understand surprise charges are frustrating. Thanks for acknowledging the difference between those external costs and the product quality itself. We’ll work to better disclose or assist with that for future customers.
I bought this with plans to scale. Right now it’s handling basic router and firewall, but I already see why I’ll have room to grow (SFP port, spare memory headroom). Very happy with the choice

The RackMatrix S2 works brilliantly as my edge routing / firewall appliance. I docked one star simply because I wished there was a dealer or support center locally in my country — shipping parts is slow. But the product itself is superb.

The hardware & specs are excellent. Unfortunately, the first unit came absolutely smashed from rough courier handling. I had to request a replacement, which delayed my deployment. The replacement unit is perfect though

I’ve been running this thing nonstop for weeks (VPN, IDS, traffic shaping, etc.) and zero reboots, zero hiccups. It’s become the backbone of my network. Kudos.
