The device is outstanding in every regard: the rackmount network appliance with Intel E3845 quad core, 1.91GHz, SFP + GbE ports is exactly what we needed — silent, compact, powerful. However, shipping to our region was delayed nearly three weeks, and we incurred unexpected local duty fees. That dampened the initial excitement a bit, even though the product itself exceeded expectations once installed.
We appreciate your patience and honesty. We’re sorry about the shipping and customs impact and will look to improve our logistics and transparency around extra fees. We’re pleased you nevertheless see the value in the hardware and hope it serves you well moving forward.
This is definitely a strong piece of hardware — advanced network appliance with SFP uplink for IT teams — but if you’re less experienced the initial configuration (choosing the right interface, setting NAT rules) may feel a bit steep. That said, once configured it runs beautifully.

We’re using it to run logging, IDS/IPS and network monitoring at a branch site — the 24/7 rack appliance for logging & monitoring with Intel E3845 doesn’t break a sweat. My only minor comment: the 4 GB RAM onboard is fine for now, but we could have used the optional 8 GB and I wish the product listing emphasized the RAM upgrade more.

For budget-conscious SMBs looking for a cost-effective network appliance with 3 GbE + 1 SFP, this RackMatrix S2 is excellent. Deployment took a bit longer than expected (our IT team was short-staffed), but once live the performance is top notch.

Very satisfied: the rack network appliance with Intel E3845 and modular S2 chassis feels very premium. However, the box arrived slightly dented, which concerned me at first. Fortunately the unit inside was unharmed and working perfectly.
