The RackMatrix S2 (3 ports GbE + 1 port SFP) works exactly as advertised — performance is solid, the OS runs cleanly, and hardware feels robust. However, the shipping delay (over a week beyond estimate) was disappointing. Because of that slowdown, I withheld one star. But the product itself is excellent

Everything is great — performance, networking ports, build, and stability. My only minor gripe is that I’m using lots of logging and would’ve preferred a 2 TB SSD option by default vs 1 TB. But that’s a small personal preference — hardware is excellent

I’ve used many firewall boxes over the years, but this one feels decidedly premium. The chassis is rigid, cooling is efficient, the SSD is industrial grade, and the interface ports have solid connectors. Looks great in the rack too

The hardware is superb — clean design, strong performance. My only issue was the last‑mile courier; it sat in local handling for a couple days. But that’s outside your control. I’m satisfied overall.

I deployed this RackMatrix S2 with Noah2 Intel E3845 in my small office as our edge firewall + VPN gateway. It handles 20+ VPN users, content filtering, traffic shaping, and more with ease. Low heat, low noise, very solid
