I didn’t expect it to outperform in real-world mixed workloads, but it did. With firewall rules, logging, DPI, and routing all active, I still got stable throughput ~780–820 Mbps. Uptime has been flawless for weeks.

Specs are excellent, and I love the modular nature of the S2. In throughput tests it delivered what it claimed. But the order-to-shipment took nearly 3 weeks — that delay caused me to shift my timeline. Otherwise, I’m pleased

The device works exactly as promised: stable, clean performance, and I see good throughput. But the external box arrived with crushed corners. Thankfully the inner packing saved it. I’d recommend improved packaging for exports.

When I first got it, I had to dig through forums to find sample configs — the official documentation is light on advanced routing + SFP examples. But once I got it set up, it’s been a power house doing VPN + IDS full time.

I’m super impressed with how the S2 handles routing and firewall tasks — rock solid. But my shipment got held by customs for nearly a week, which delayed my rollout. Still, once I had it, it’s been flawless.
