he 10G-SFPP-TWX-P-0301 is a passive twinax direct‐attach copper (DAC) cable, 3 meters in length, designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity between SFP+ ports. It is compliant with the SFP+ (SFP Plus) form‐factor, built to the MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) specification, and fully compatible with Ruckus/Brocade network equipment. Ideal for short‐reach high‐capacity interconnects in data centre racks, top‐of-rack switches, server interlinks, and high‐speed access/distribution layers.

Key Features:

  • Form Factor: SFP+ to SFP+ twinax copper connection for 10GBase-CU applications.

  • Cable Length: 3 meters (3 m) ideal for short‐reach connections within racks or adjacent enclosures.
  • Passive copper twinax design—no additional power required, optimized for low latency, cost-effective high-speed links.
  • Fully compliant with all MSA and IEEE standards/protocols, with a guaranteed compatibility assurance and lifetime replacement warranty.
  • Operating Temperature: Commercial range 0 °C to 70 °C.
  • Jacket material: PVC (OFNR), wire gauge 30AWG, minimum bend radius 23mm, colour: black.
  • Compatible OEM: Brocade® (and by extension Ruckus-compatible deployment) as specified by vendor.

Why Choose This DAC Twinax Cable?
When you need to connect two SFP+ ports in a high-performance 10 GbE setup without the added cost or complexity of optical modules and fiber, this passive 3 m twinax cable offers a plug-and-play solution. It is especially suited to top-of-rack switch‐to‐server or switch‐to‐switch links where short reach is sufficient and power budget or latency matters. The assured compatibility with Ruckus / Brocade equipment makes it a reliable choice for data centres, enterprise LANs, SANs, and high-density wiring closets.

Typical Use Cases:

  • Rack-based servers connected to 10G switches where distances are very short (≤ 3 m).

  • Between adjacent networking gear (switch to switch) in a data centre or access distribution layer.

  • Cost-sensitive deployments where 10 GbE is required but fiber optics is unnecessary.

  • Upgrading legacy 1 Gb links to 10 GbE within a single rack or adjacent racks.
