The Ruckus R550 itself is fantastic. I’ve seen a noticeable bump in performance across multiple devices, even in busy areas of our building. However, the unit arrived 6 days later than expected, which delayed our entire network upgrade project. If not for the shipping issue, I’d rate it higher

Performance-wise, the R550 is great. Streaming, calls, and smart devices all run smoothly now. That said, I had some trouble during initial setup with my ZoneDirector. Needed to upgrade firmware and check compatibility first. Would have loved clearer documentation. Once running, though, no complaints

We set up two R550 APs in a large house, using SmartMesh wireless meshing between them. No more WiFi dead spots in the attic or basement. Streaming and home‑office work both work flawlessly. Would highly recommend for “home mesh WiFi6 system with Ruckus R550” setups.
