We deployed three Ruckus R560 APs in a large lecture hall plus adjoining halls to build a mesh network. The SmartMesh capability over both 5GHz and 6GHz has been excellent — no dead spots and smooth roaming. Even when students move between halls, devices switch without dropping. Aggregate throughput has not dropped significantly even with 100+ simultaneous video streams. Best Ruckus R560 mesh network performance I’ve seen so far
That’s fantastic to hear! Mesh networking was one of the big strengths we built into the R560, especially using the 6 GHz band to reduce interference. It’s great that your large‑classroom + hall setup is getting consistent performance even under heavy load. Thanks for the detailed review!
The Ruckus R560 is beast hardware. When I finally got it installed, performance was fantastic: WiFi 6E in all three bands, blazing speeds, and excellent signal even through thick walls. However, customs held up my package for almost a week, which pushed back my launch schedule. Product itself: 5 stars. The shipping/customs situation is why I’m giving 3 overall
Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re very happy the R560 delivered on hardware and performance once you got it. We understand delays with customs are beyond our control but definitely frustrating — thanks for your patience and we’ll look for ways to improve shipping and documentation to hopefully ease customs processes.
I bought the 901‑R560‑US00 because of the promise of integrated BLE/Zigbee and the USB port for future IoT expansion. It’s delivering great performance: fast WiFi, minimal lag, and good coverage. My only gripe is that initial setup and integrating the BLE sensors took more fiddling than I expected. Nothing impossible, just more time. Once configured, though, it’s solid
Thanks for sharing your experience! We’re glad the R560’s IoT features are living up to expectations, even though the initial setup was a bit more work. Your feedback about setup time is valuable — we’re always trying to improve documentation and tools to make that smoother. Happy to hear it’s solid now!
I set up the Ruckus R560 in a downtown café that doubles as a live‑event space. Between customers, performers, and IoT devices (lights, speakers), the network was a mess before. The R560’s BeamFlex+ adaptive antennas and ChannelFly dynamic channel tech really cleaned up interference problems. Device connections are stable, signal strength is strong even in corners. Highly recommend for indoor WiFi 6E access points for public venues
Awesome to hear! The R560 was designed to shine exactly in those tricky public‑venue settings with lots of devices and interference. Thanks for highlighting BeamFlex+ and ChannelFly — they do make a big difference. Thanks for your recommendation!
As someone managing tech for a university lecture hall, the Ruckus R560 has been a huge upgrade. Supporting up to 1536 clients per AP really made the difference when 200+ students connect simultaneously. Lectures stream in 4K without buffering now. Only downside — shipping took almost two weeks, which delayed one module start. But once installed, the hardware lives up to the hype
Thank you for your feedback! We’re really glad the R560 is making such a positive impact in the classroom. Apologies for the shipping delay — we understand how that can affect planning and schedules. We’ll keep working with shipping partners to reduce those delays.
