The spec sheet says up to 12.22 Gbps combined PHY rate and tri-band concurrent support, and the R770 delivers on speed and coverage. But I was frustrated the delivery date slipped twice—outside your control I know, but it was stressful coordinating.

For gaming, latency matters. With the R770 supporting multi-link operation (MLO) and 4K QAM, I’m getting ultra-low ping even while others in house are streaming or video calling. The responsiveness is immediately noticeable.

Hardware is top-notch. The 10 Gbps ethernet port backed by 4x4:4 in 5 GHz and 2x2:2 in 6 GHz gives me huge backhaul and speed. But shipping took nearly 2 weeks, which delayed our deployment. Product itself more than made up for the wait though.

We just installed the Ruckus R770 in our family media room and the difference is night and day. Using 320 MHz channels and the 6 GHz band, I’m pulling crazy speeds—streaming 8K demo videos without buffering. Devices roam smoothly between 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz. Truly the best tri-band WiFi 7 access point for streaming heavy content in large homes.
