The switch gives strong value: 24 PoE ports, solid memory, stackable features. Setup was mostly fine, but one config template wasn’t intuitive. After that, it’s been rock solid.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad it’s serving well after setup and will take a look at streamlining that template
In a school environment, this switch handles student lab PCs, teacher IP phones, and wireless APs without complaints. VLANs, QoS, and PoE work together seamlessly.
We’re thrilled it’s performing well in a school setting! That’s exactly one of the intended environments for ICX8100.
We used the Ruckus ICX8100-24P for powering security cameras and access points in a retail center. All devices stayed online without flickers. My only critique: more LED detail (port status etc.) would be helpful in the dark.
Thanks for sharing! LED feedback is on our improvement list. Glad it kept everything powered and connected.
The hardware is everything I hoped for—strong throughput, robust PoE, managed features. But shipping from the supplier was delayed by about a week, which slowed down our branch rollout.
We’re sorry about the delay and appreciate your patience. It’s great to know the ICX8100-24P meets expectations once installed.
This switch runs quietly even when powering full loads across all ports. No fan hum, no heat complaints. Power budget stays stable even under heavy loads with APs and cameras connected.
Thank you for noticing that! Silent and efficient operation was a key design goal for deployments like yours.
