Installed the ICX8100 in a compact rack closet. It’s surprisingly quiet, even under load, and doesn’t overheat. The fans are well managed.

Used the ICX8100 as an access switch – the 1 Gb managed switch for access layer deployments gives enough throughput and PoE power to all our APs and endpoint devices. My only gripe is the CLI has a small learning curve.
